With school closed for students on Halloween this Oct. 31, students celebrated the day before with creative, funny and intricate costumes of all kinds.

Many students paired up with friends and wore themed costumes, while others ventured out on their own, wearing homemade masterpieces.

Yearbook staff and Spirit Club members held a costume contest with prizes. Costumes were judged during I&E and the winners were announced during 4th block.

Winners were Violet Nicoletti (Monster High) in first place, Caroline Jenkins and Vaiden Girolamo (Curious George and the Man in the Yellow Hat) in second place and Logan Holmes (The Joker) in third place, with Paige Blackwell (Monster High) receiving honorable mention.

The first-place prize was a Starbucks gift card, and the other winners received candy.
