Each week, The Broadcaster will introduce a new animal in the BHS Animal Science program.
Meet Autumn and Amelia, 3-year-old Great Pyrenees dogs who live at the Brevard High School FFA Farm. They have been at the barn since they were 6 weeks old.

Animal Science teacher Mrs. Clayton said the dogs went to her house while a new enclosure was built for goats at the barn. The dogs protect the goats 24/7 now.
Autumn and Amelia are very active at night and sleep a lot during the day, said Mrs. Clayton. They spend their nights watching for predators and keeping the livestock at the farm safe.
