The BHS Swim Team went to the NCHSAA State Championship on Saturday, Feb. 8 after placing first at the Conference Championships. 

Overall, the women’s team placed 14th in the state and the men’s team placed 23rd in the state. The women’s medley relay team placed 11th and the women’s 400 freestyle relay team placed fifth.

Individually, Julia Sherrill placed third in the 50 freestyle race and Josh Poche placed fourth in the 200 freestyle and fifth in the 100 backstroke races.
