Elizabeth Snowdon, a striker on the Brevard High Lady Devils soccer team, has been playing soccer for 12 years, having started when she was 3.

Snowdon and her father grew up around soccer and enjoyed it, which made her want to keep the journey going.

She is now a 16-year-old sophomore, and moved here during the eighth grade. Snowdon says she loves playing soccer at Brevard because of her teammates and how they bond and work together. She has learned new skills such as “being  a leader.”

She and her teammates are looking forward to playing Hendersonville High this season, and says they are their “biggest computation.” The team will play Hendersonville April 8, so they have time to prepare for the match.

Junior forward and midfielder Nora Felty said Snowdon is “a great player and teammate.”

As of March 26, the Lady Devils soccer team had a 5-2-1 record and was in second place in their conference.
