Jack Gresham and Topher Peterson won the annual Brevard High Talent Show Friday, April 11 with their performance of “Better With a Man.”
Mya Parlier and James Brooks tied for second with the bad CAZastrophe. Sixteen students performed in eight acts.
Performing in the talent show were:
Hallie Sisney – singing, piano, “You’ll Be Alright, Kid” by Alex Warren
Mya Parlier and James Brooks – self-choreographed dance to “Headlock” by Imogen Heap
Kenzie Cornett – guitar, “Comfortably Numb” by Pink Floyd
Val Valencia – singing “Black Sheep” by Metric
Topher Peterson and Jack Gresham – duet musical number, “Better with a Man” by Bryce Pinkham and Jefferson Mays from “Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder”
Jay Shultz – poetry reading, “Our Veins in Vain”
Brogen Justice – singing “You’ll Be Back” by Jonathan Groff, from “Hamilton”
CAZastrophe – band members Caz Kimsey, Zane Romero, Steven Bohn, David Bohn, Wilsen DeGarmo, Broden Houghton and Jack Friedman performing “September” by Earth, Wind and Fire.
