The BHS golf team will play in the regional competition Tuesday, May 6 after back-to-back fifth-place wins last week.

The team’s last match of the season took place April 30 at Connestee Falls Golf Club in Brevard.

The match was an 18-hole round starting at 1 p.m. on the championship George Cobb-designed course, known for its challenging layout and beautiful mountain vistas.

The team finished fifth out of seven teams in the competition.

The day before, on Monday, April 29, the team participated in its sixth match of the season at Dogwood Valley Golf Club in Forest City.

The format was a shotgun-style start, a tournament format where all participants begin their rounds at the same time, but from different holes.

Brevard again placed fifth as a team, and Bennett Norris placed fifth overall with a score of 75. Find more information about the team on MaxPreps.
