Music blaring in the halls, streamers and balloons in the bathrooms and “you’ve been pranked” written on windows greeted students and staff Thursday as they arrived at school.

Seniors in the class of 2025 didn’t need to make the drive, however. Instead they rolled out of tents and hammocks in their PJs, having camped out at the school overnight.

Seniors in bathrobes mingled with confused underclassmen as they made breakfast at the picnic tables and talked about staying up all night talking and hanging out.

The music was cut off at the 8 a.m. bell, but the decorations remained as seniors began packing up a day ahead of Senior Skip Day on Friday.
