Transylvania County Schools has announced the hiring of Doug Justice to serve as interim principal at Brevard High. Justice will fill in the rest of the year for Mick Galloway, who announced his retirement as of Feb. 28. 

Justice is also a retired school administrator from Henderson County Public Schools. He was recognized at his retirement ceremony for his leadership connected to the Career Academy Annex. 

Throughout his career, Justice served as an assistant principal and athletic director at East Henderson High. He also previously served as head football coach at North Henderson High before moving into school administration at East Henderson. 

Justice´s first day at Brevard High will be March 2.
