Brevard High held its annual Senior Signing Day Friday, April 24 in the gym. The event celebrated the classs of 2026 and the different paths each student has chosen for after graduation.

Grads wore their cap and gowns, many with college apparel underneath, and entered the gym through the Blue Devil tunnel.

With the entire school in attendance, they were called down to sign the BHS Class of 2026 Banner in the following groups: two-year college, four-year college, military, workforce and exploration.

“Today is a celebration of commitment, courage and the future. As we gather to recognize each of you – our seniors – signing your name to a new chapter, we’re filled with pride,” emcee and social studies teacher Richard Stubbs told the crowd.

“Whether you’re heading to college, beginning a career, or joining the military, you are making a powerful statement: you are ready to lead, to serve, to grow.

“You’ve worked hard to reach this point, and though your paths may be different, the determination behind each journey is the same. Brevard High School, your families, and your community stand behind you, proud of who you are and excited for all that lies ahead.

“Congratulations, BHS class of 2026! We are so proud of you all and the determination that has brought you to this point in your life. Let’s finish this school year strong as you complete your high school journey.”
