Emily Atkinson’s Art Intermediate (Art 2) class recently completed paper mâché projects.

Broadcaster: What were some of the struggles your students faced?

Atkinson: Sometimes viewing them as three dimensional was a struggle, or getting the paper to smooth out.

Broadcaster: What was something that went well?

Atkinson: They are very creative with creating personalities in their sculptures.

Broadcaster: Would you say this was one of the better groups for this project?

Atkinson: This group stood out a lot; there were lots of creations no one has ever tried before.

Broadcaster: How long did the project take?

Atkinson: Two and a half weeks.
